As there is rapid growing demand for IT solutions andservices to make vehicles safer and more comfortable in the market, a new exhibition “Automotive IT Expo” will be launched in January 2013 at Tokyo. It will join Automotive World 2013, Asia’s leading exhibition & conference for advanced automotive technologies such as automotive electronics, EV & HEV and automotive weight reduction.
The show will gather all kinds of IT services and solutions, ITS related devices, human-machine interface, telematics services, etc. As it will be held inside Automotive World 2013, 30,000 visitors are expected from all the major OEM and tier one companies.
In addition, co-held with Automotive World, the Technical Conference with more than 30 sessions will take place, where top executives and key persons from the leading companies address the latest trends and technologies. This year, sessions on connected vehicles will join it, expecting to make Automotive IT Expo more distinguished as the central hub of the latest trends and technologies and bringing more visitors even to the exhibition halls.
According to Fuji Keizai, global market scale of connected vehicles will expand by nine times by 2025, representing 3,900 million vehicles in the world, compared to that of 2011.
