Fakuma 2014: Demonstration of DC-RS250 compact robot dispensing cell and RAKU-PUR® Speed 2-component polymer
Grafenberg, September 15, 2014. The DC-RS250 compact robot dispensing cell and RAKU-PUR® Speed soft integral foam that RAMPF will be showcasing at Fakuma 2014 deliver speed and precision, even in the tightest of spaces.
As visitors to Fakuma 2014 from October 14 to 18 in Friedrichshafen, Germany, will see for themselves, RAMPF has the ideal system solution for lean manufacturing concepts. The DC-RS250 compact robot dispensing cell will provide live demonstrations of the RAKU-PUR® Speed 2-component polymer being applied at the RAMPF Group’s stand in hall B2, booth 2203. This product achieves exceptionally short curing times where space is at a premium.

DC-RS250 – compact, versatile, and efficient
The DC-RS250 compact robot cell from RAMPF Production Systems combines rapid processing and maximum flexibility with the ability to fit into virtually any space. The DC-RS250, which is equipped with Kuka’s KR Agilus robot, offers full functionality for components up to a size of 200 x 250 x 80 mm. All kinds of 1- and 2-component materials can be applied, including highly abrasive materials such as thermal greases. The dispensing cell also features easy accessibility for maintenance work.
RAKU-PUR® Speed – tack-free in three minutes
RAKU-PUR® Speed fast-curing integral soft foam from RAMPF Polymer Solutions is tack-free in just three minutes or so. Once the foam has been applied, the component can undergo further processing straight away without the need to invest in curing equipment. This means costly time spent in curing ovens or storage systems is a thing of the past, because the ambient temperature is sufficient to cure the sealing material. Consequently, RAKU-PUR® Speed is ideal for use in all technologies that require short cycle times. The development team behind this product recently won the RAMPF Innovation Award in recognition of its achievement.
