The world’s largest processor of corrugated plastic pipe, Advanced Drainage Systems Inc., is adding to the string of pipe facilities it has built
with a new one planned for Hampton, Iowa. The new facility is to be fully operational by the middle of next month.
The new facility will handle both pipe processing as well as serve as a distribution site for ADS so it can better serve customers in Northeast Iowa and Southern Minnesota. ADS is headquartered in Hilliard, OH.
“We’re seeing an enormous demand for all of our products including our single wall agricultural pipe, dual wall storm drain pipe, HP sanitary pipe, storm chambers, sanitary chambers, and many other products throughout the region,” said Joe Chlapaty, ADS chairman and CEO, in a statement.
The 45-year old company has built more than 50 plastics processing facilities and more than 20 distribution facilities in its history.
“Geographically, the Hampton plant location is well situated to service northeastern Iowa and southern Minnesota. ADS selected this area for its strategic location, excellent interstate access, and for its very qualified and dedicated labor pool,” added Chlapaty.
