Olaf Nootbaar has been appointed as CEO of Carbodeon Ltd, a specialist in carbon nanomaterials development and production from Finland.He previously served as Global Marketing Director at AZ Electronic Materials and Marketing Manager Functional Coatings at Rohm and Haas, a material company based in the US.
Commenting on his appointment, Mr. Nootbaar said, “Carbodeon nanodiamond products have already found industrial and consumer applications in demanding thermal management materials, electroplating and high wear resistance materials markets. I look forward to providing my expertise and wide industry contacts to help accelerate the company’s growth.”
Dr. Asko Vehanen, the outgoing CEO, will join the board of Carbodeon and continue as Senior Advisor to the company.
