Madison Heights, MI – DME, a worldwide leader in mold technologies, has hired a new business development manager and two new Field Sales Representatives. Stephen Byrnes has been named Senior Business Development Manager for the Eastern United States. Shannon Vaughn has been appointed field sales representative for the Southeastern U.S. territory, and Stephane Huot is the new DME field sales representative for Quebec, Canada.
With more than 35 years of plastics industry experience, Stephen Byrnes brings a wide range of knowledge to DME. Having worked for both hot runner system and injection molding machine manufacturers, Byrnes leverages a diverse background of plastics processing expertise in his role at DME. A graduate of UMass Lowell’s plastics technology program, Byrnes’ robust skill sets will serve DME customers throughout the Eastern U.S from Maine to Florida.

Shannon Vaughn comes to DME from Master Precision Global, where he served as Plant Manager for a team of 120 employees focused on providing lower tooling costs to its customer base. His extensive experience working in technical sales, production and plant management will provide strong consultation to customers striving to find the best mold technology solutions for their applications.
With a previous stint as a technical sales representative at OHS, a DME affiliate company, under his belt, Stephane Huot brings his familiarity with DME mold technologies to moldmakers and plastics processors in Quebec, Canada. Huot previously owned his own plastics machinery sales company and applies his deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the industry to work with customers to achieve solutions that will provide the greatest value.
