Munich, August 1, 2013 – Baerlocher, a leading global supplier of additives for the plastics industry, exhibits at this year’s K-show at booth A21 in Hall 5. The leading trade fair for the international plastics industry is taking place in Dusseldorf from October 16-23. For the design of the stand Baerlocher has entrusted wroom, a young team of architects and designers.
The outstanding booth visualizes the theme of Baerlocher – we add character to plastics.Baerlocher, a leading global producer of innovative additives in particular for the production of PVC products such as window profiles, pipes, cables and floor coverings and films, exhibits at this year’s K-show on a stand with 140 square meters with an entirely new design.
For concept and design of the booth, Baerlocher has assigned a team of young architects and designers, all graduates of the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart. wroom considers itself as the link between architecture, product design and visual communication. Through interdisciplinary work and a conceptual approach, the team aims to develop highly individual and exceptional solutions.
“The idea of Baerlocher to break new ground enabled us to design a new booth from scratch. The booth visualizes the theme of Baerlocher and translates it into a filigree, molecule-like structure that, at the same time, is functional and characteristic”, says Philipp Münster on behalf of the team.

Besides sustainable Ca-based additives for the PVC industry, Baerlocher also develops and provides additives for other polymer applications and wood plastic composites. The additive systems offered by Baerlocher set standards in terms of production efficiency as well as quality and sustainability of the final products.
