The Polymer Innovations exhibition at the NEC, scheduled by easyFairs for November this year, has been postponed to an indefinite date.
easyFairs UK managing director Matthew Benyon told British Plastics & Rubber: “Economic conditions are such that, unfortunately, we’ve had to postpone easyFairs Polymer Innovations. Automotive and construction, both significant markets for the show, have been particularly hard hit…we’ll look to launch the exhibition when market conditions improve.”
Polymer Innovations was billed as “the UK’s only materials technologies and processing show that looks at polymers from the outside-in” and was to be run as four parallel exhibitions – Materials Innovation; Joining, Bonding & Fastening; Manufacturing Innovation; and EcoPlas.
