Sumitomo (SHI) Demag opens new subsidiary in Hungary
In the wake of the rising demand for high-quality injection moulding machines in Hungary, Sumitomo (SHI) Demag has set up a new subsidiary in Hungary, effective 5 October 2015. Sumitomo (SHI) Demag Plastics Machinery Hungária Kft will be based in Törökbálint.
At Sumitomo (SHI), Demag’s new subsidiary, employees with many years of experience in the Hungarian market will offer their services to local customers. Sumitomo (SHI) Demag Hungaria will be spearheaded by Andras Borszeki, an expert in injection moulding machinery manufacturing with a profound knowledge of the Hungarian market. Two sales experts with many years of experience, Csaba Jozan and Joszef Selley will be responsible for the new subsidiary’s Sales Department.
The two experts have been working as sales consultants for Hungarian injection moulders for many years. The three men will provide their Hungarian customers in the injection-moulding segment with the professional expertise that comes from more than fifty years of experience in the Hungarian market.
“Hungary has emerged as the market with the highest potential for growth in Europe,“ Gerd Liebig, CSO of Sumitomo (SHI) Demag Group explains. “In addition to extensive investments, which are planned for the next few years, our customers will also need technological support in order to stay ahead of the competition“.
The impressive sales team will be supported by service technicians, who will take professional care of all Sumitomo and Demag machines, which have been delivered to customers, in order to ensure that their productions fulfils the market requirement for efficiency. By setting up Sumitomo (SHI) Demag Plastics Machinery Hungaria Kft. in Törökbalint, the company can now intensify its efforts to provide reliable, localised Sales, Service and Maintenance services for machines and systems. The new Sales and Service centre will also offer extensive training programmes for moulders in order to help them tap the full potential and efficiency of Sumitomo (SHI) Demag products and machines.
