Slovenian paint producer gives its new products a trendy look in RPC’s plastics containers
Slovenian paint producer JUB has adopted injection molded polypropylene (PP) paint containers from RPC Superfos for the launch of two new interior paints.
JUB, one of the leading paint producers in the Balkans, has selected the 2.5L Paintainer and the 15L SuperOval container for its JUPOL Trend and JUPOL Classic brands, both of which are targeted at the DIY market.
“We have experience with both metal and plastic containers, and found that plastic containers meet our requirements,” commented Jelka Slatinsek, Head of Marketing at JUB.
The 15L SuperOval container is being used for JUPOL Classic, a new white paint of increased quality. The pail features vivid colors for a fresh look with a design that promotes the paint’s ability to add brilliant whiteness to any room.
The other range, JUPOL Trend, consists of interior paints in modern shades. The look of the Paintainer reflects the product name, featuring a black background with a color drop to convey a fashionable and trendy image. In addition, an attractive musical instrument is shown on the pail to highlight each jazzy color.
“We want our customers to like not only our product, but also our packaging. On shelves, packaging must evoke interest; create desire to buy and sell a product. You may say the most visible form of marketing is the packaging,” concluded Slatinsek, adding that the new packaging has been well received, with end users finding it beautiful and likeable.
