Polymers turn weak on reduced offtake

June 11 Low density polymer today traded marginally lower by paise 50 per kg in the national capital due to reduced offtake from plastic bag makers and moulding units.

Traders said reduced offtake from plastic bag makers and plastic moulding units mainly led to fall in low density polymer prices.

Low density (LD) NO 40 and (LD) NO 400 were traded lower by paise 50 each at 88.50 and Rs 9050 per kg respectively.

Other polymers such as high desnithy (HD) and Polypropylene (PP) were unchanged on some support.
