PCC’s color report identifies Cavernous Indulgence as leading option for plastics designs
Cavernous Indulgence and its accompanying color palette has emerged as the leading color choice for the design of plastic products for the consumer and industrial markets, according to Plastics Color Corporation (PCC)’s 2nd Annual Color Report.
“Unearthed – the World of Color” is the theme of the PCC’s nature-inspired color palette for 2015. Cavernous Indulgence is a bold, deep color that is illustrated by scrumptious, juicy grapes.
The World of Color palette embodies four colors including 15th Century, Zeep, Pomerine, and Reflectance.
This palette is filled with surreal colors that are shockingly a part of our natural habitat, according to the report. Vivid, vivacious, and vibrant colors inspire fashion, home décor, personal electronics, and more.
“The vibrant side of nature has come to life in a fresh way and the colors that paint earth are also painting industry this year,” the report noted. “Whether it is relishing in the mesmerizing coastal landscapes, gasping at the intricate patterns wildlife showcases, or tasting nourishment grown across farmlands to tropical paradises, relishing in the vast glory of the world of color unearthed around us is inspirational.”
“Our goal with the Color Report and our color development services is to help designers in the initial concept stage so they can develop the right product in the right color and get it to the shelf faster,” said Sarah Skidmore, PCC’s Marketing Manager.
