New Sepro robots on show at Chinaplas 2016
International robot manufacturer, Sepro Group, is hosting its biggest display ever in China, with seven robots on show at the Chinaplas event.
Three robots are being shown on the Sepro China stand simulating operations typically found in automotive manufacturing. Another four robots are operating in the booths of several injection molding machine manufacturers.
Chinaplas 2016 runs until 28 April in Shanghai.
The robot destacks fabric from one of two drawers and places it into a mould and then repeats the operation, taking fabric from the second drawer. Then the robot removes the fabric from the mould, simulating both part removal and refilling of the drawers.
To date, France-based Sepro has equipped more than 30,000 injection-moulding machines worldwide. The company’s global turnover for 2015 was €92.8m (£71.9m).
In April, the firm launched a complete business package including robot, peripheral equipment, automation system design and services for plastic injection moulding companies. ‘Solution by Sepro’ encompasses three-axis, five-axis and six-axis robots.
