Ahmedabad, India – Ferromatik Milacron India Private Ltd. (FMIPL), an injection molding machine manufacturer and wholly-owned subsidiary of Milacron LLC, today announced the appointment of Shirish Divgi to the role of Managing Director.
Divgi has been with FMIPL for more than 16 years, most recently serving in the position of Chief Operating Officer. In his new role, Divgi will continue to lead the long-standing management team that maintains a focus on expanding FMIPL’s position as India’s market leader of injection molding equipment and aftermarket services.
FMIPL is part of Milacron LLC’s Plastics Technologies Group headed by division President and Board Chairman Dave Lawrence. “Shirish Divgi has done an outstanding job of leading FMIPL as we have expanded our presence throughout India, Africa and the Middle East,” said Lawrence. Sharing Lawrence’s outlook on the future of the company, Divgi commented: “I see tremendous opportunity with Ferromatik India and believe that we will continue to strengthen our global leadership position over the next five years.”
Established in 1995, FMIPL offers a full range of injection molding machines from 50-3,000 tons, with capacity to manufacture 1,500 machines annually.
